Notes

Well, as a suthin' boy, I know a barn when I see one. The place is naturally boomy and Steve did a good job on the mix. The first track may be a little bassy, but I think I got it rolled down fairly promptly.

Hans - nice job on the lights, I enjoyed your work tonight.

Let's see...oh yeah...moe.!

An explosion - they blew the place up. Jumped right in and gave us the good ol' moe. satisfied feeling the way only they can.

One other note: after the "on broadway" part of SOMP they jumped into a fierce woolly jam, with Rob raining bass bombs. I called it T5 jam. Someone said Steve said (double hearsay, I know, and unreliable) it was a Plane Crash jam, but I did not hear it that way. Decide for yourselves, just don't say I didn't give you all the info I had.

Subject: ENJOYING THE SHOW
nice stuff, full sound, i'm biased but i think this is the better recording on the archive.

anyhow i think the reviewer who called out the 'T5' jam as a 'Four' tease gets a gold star for headiness. and to prove my own headiness another show that has a sweet jam inside a jam is 2006-02-06, at the pagent, when moe. completed a 'timmy tucker' inside of a monster 'head' jam. it is to date one of the best two-step styled timmy jams that works really well with the interplay off of 'head'.

for me, its the subtleties and nuancies in the music that make each night different, unique, and on occassion truly spectacular. the T5 jam is unique for moe, and the mcbain opener is always appreciated.

LONG LIVE moe. :)

Subject: plane crash
it wasn't a plane crash tease or anything else to the liking. the boys & steve didn't think it would be proper taking into consideration the plane crash in buffalo the week before. great show though.

Subject: great night!!!
had an awesome time in NYC ... unfortunately we got there late and missed a few of the first songs which i deeply regret... T5 jam is a Four tease not Plane Crash just to let you know ... loved the crowd like I always do, makin' it extra heady ...

can't wait for some moe.!!! .. peace

Subject: Great to have em back
What a great feeling it was to see the boys again. And the jams and improv seemed to have a little different flavor than the last tour...and it was awesome.

I def hear that Jam to be Plane Crash- when Al normally is climbing up a scale of notes in the middle jam except he isn't playing that lick (that's what I hear)

My only complaint about the show was the venue itself, set break was ridiculous to smoke or have a cigarette and the crowd for the first half of each set was a bit tight on the floor. Still a five star performance in my mind, can't wait for NoHo!

I was at the show. Was great! Great venue!

Timmy Tucker --> Tailspin and encore Meat are worth the download.

Good to see moe. hasn't missed a beat in the off season.

Still my favorite band and always will be!

Thanks Marcus, great job as usual. Got out of my show after 2:00, so I missed talkin' to you. Nice hearing them cover Panic. As it petered out, it sounded as though it could go into Dear Prudence or the Take Out. Just a different perspective! The crowd sounded kinda talkative. I did not hear Jesse's voice! Have a blast tonight! Talk at ya after my show, around 3:00 am as you upload!

Talk about quick... Thanks so much for getting this up so fast. I really wanted to go to this show but couldn't. Heard only 5 tracks so far and the boys sound great. It's gonna be a great year for moe. and I see they were just added to the ALLGOOD FESTIVAL lineup for this July...
